A Ministry of The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army Caring Place is a safe haven where compassion and faith reveal that all things are possible and healing begins.  The Caring Place exists to support individuals and families in our community struggling with poverty, addictions, mental illness, hunger and housing.  Church services are held every Sunday at 11:00 am.  Social services programs we offer include a community meal program serving 10,000 meals to over 600 individuals monthly, a 25 bed emergency shelter, a 15 mat Cold Wet Weather program and a 15 bed transistional housing facility.  We also support many children and families through our Sonia’s Cradle programs inlcuding; baby & infant necessaties, school bag lunches, summer camp, Christmas hampers and back to school supplies.

Join us at 11:00am Sundays!

If you are looking for a church that makes a difference in its community, then look no further! We invite you to browse around our site and see what we’re all about. You’ll find information on who we are, what we believe, our roots and especially what we’re about all week long – not just on Sundays! When you see who we are and what we do, you’ll want to come and visit us and meet our fantastic ministry team.  Drop by any time – you’ll be glad you did.

You’re also welcome to join us any Sunday for a time of uplifting music and singing and a message that is relevant to your life. Many people have been affected by addictions and dysfunction.  It is our goal to help you navigate through life – and the teachings of Jesus Christ are just what you need.
